Monday we attended a Memorial service.
Brynlynn is very patriotic.
They actually fired this cannon...don't let it's size fool you-it's LOUD (the cannon, not Brynlynn...though the same principle applies).
Some of the "originals" ...Clyde (father-in-law), Sharon, Cathy, Mike and Ned (in birth order).
Time with Grandpa while waiting (forever) for some food!
She held out for as long as she could...
Her Great-Grandfather Shannon.
The men entertaining themselves outside while their better halves are inside answering questions for the "Not-So-Newlywed Game".
This is what he was doing while I was getting dressed...we couldn't leave without at least ONE time on the trampoline.
We ended our trip with a visit to the Lubbock Temple. It was a great experience and blessing to spend time with Grandpa Shannon. He reminisced stories of his younger years, times with Grandma Shannon, and offered some words of advice. It's times like these that really remind me how important my family is. I am truly blessed and so very grateful to have had this opportunity.
p.s. not sure why it's underlining randomly...but it's too late for me to worry about it...

And of course, being an IT nerd, I immediately did some troubleshooting; you have a < u > (html for underline) open tag before the trampoline pic. Maybe you accidentally hit the underline button no blogger's format editor. Get B to fix it!
