Even though it's been a looong time since I last posted, I'm sure by now you're all aware that we're having a baby! We've officially gone public as the announcement was made this past week on Facebook. It's been an interesting 16 weeks so far: from the exhaustion and nausea, to the crying at the stupidest commercials/shows and country songs, to having the smelling senses of a bloodhound...it's all starting to get better. Despite all this, I know I was very lucky compared to some other mothers I've talked with. Poor Brent might not agree though; he was forbidden to chew this particular gum around me (among other things) because, well, it just smelled absolutely horrible! Something I still don't think he understands. "Yes, honey, I realize it's 'minty freshness' and you're just trying to have good dental hygiene, but...SPIT IT OUT. Thanks."
