Never! Say Never!

An on going battle--uhhem, discussion--between Brent and I pertained to a wonderful little, furry addition to our family. I taking the Pro Dog side and Brent...well.... I'm not sure what lead to his eventual 'change of heart', but honestly, who cares?!? Meet Winston!

Costco-Where the Mormons Go!

We have a Costco card. Yes, Brent and Tamara party of two. Brent likes to walk around and look at all the things we don't need nor do we even really want....and now I'm hooked. Do I need 25 lbs of cheddar cheese-NO! Do I want them, not really, BUT it's only $15! We were there Wed. for gas and decided to go in (which makes sense because the gas pumps are located across the parking lot from the store entrance). We ran into a lady from our ward and talked for a bit. She was just killing time during mutual and mentioned how she always wonders around and ends up leaving with a cart full. I honestly thought, not us-that's a little ridiculous. 10 minutes later...Brent had to go back to the front and get a cart. Costco-1; Shannons-0

Snow?! in San Antonio? *insert rolling eyes* I dismissed this, as usual, because seriously, this is not a concern. Ice maybe, but not likely in December. The talk, however, generated enough buzz for them (upper management) to go full on OPERATION SNOW FLURRIES 2009! Which resulted in me working from home, in my jammies while (not) watching TV on a Friday. Ok, so you're probably wondering, "Well?!? Did it snow? Was
