Wanna See My Goosebumps?

In our efforts to clean and organize, we came across some very interesting 'literature'....Brent's Baby Book! What I've learned and can expect in my future children: -goosebumps = chicken pocks -his mother mentioned his temperamental attitude and quickness to anger in almost every entry...hmm, yet he refuses to acknowledge this pattern is still in existence...I think we all know. -he had early ambitions to join the circus; he practiced by hanging over balconies -he was so precious though Laura, I hope that you can always maintain the title in the family of the one with all the crazy/funny kid stories....but we all know how competitive Brent is...sigh.... P.S. all pictures of Brent, from any age, are needed.  :)

Almost Famous.

See for yourself. I thought everyone did this? Apparently, it is specific only to small towns..I guess...or so according to my colleagues. Regardless, I was excited! It took us a lifetime just to fill out the online application and get it to go through. Wedding updates...it is SO CLOSE! Oh my goodness!! I'm very excited. My dress , for all of you in the loop, was turning into a nightmare. My lovely, wonderful, blessed seamstress from Peanut Festival has agreed to take on the task. The fabric is finally here!...all the way from Italy, so let the alterations begin! Brent found a great deal on tuxedos...he is so handsome :). He leaves Thurs.(3/26) to go to CO. for a 'boy snowboarding' trip. I'll be in Austin with the girls!! wah wah! Very excited. We booked the HONEYMOON!! We fly into Honolulu on April 19th!! I am so ready for some relaxation in the sun. We started moving some of my things to the house. I don't know what's worse--the closet or the kit

More B-day Enchantment

I had this fabulous idea of having a man (aka Brent) wakeboarding on the cake with a fish hooked into his shoulder (if you haven't heard this story...I'm surprised, Brent told everyone).  So I call the cookie place, who shall remain nameless, and began to describe my design.  I was interrupted before I could even get to the fish part with, "Ma'am, we're not artists...we have these...you need to look online at..."  He then continued, "How old is Brent?"  I told him and he replied, "Oh ...we usually just do balloons for that."  So....TADA! Balloons it is. :)

Happy Birthday Brent!

His 31st b-day present.  I had it hidden for an entire week at my aunt/uncles house.  Managed to not mention anything that would even hint at the fact that I was at Lowes (which was hard because I found a LOT of things).  I came up with a reason to get him out of the house for an extended period of time w/out me.  Had it delivered in his absence then slipped away to pick up the cake.  Thinking of how to break the news on the way back to the house, I receive a call.  He found it!  The gate was left open.  Sigh.

Can you see it??

Can you see what's wrong?  ....Brent seems to think this is SOooOo funny.
