Birthday Festivities!

It was a great day. I'm really upset with myself though about documenting the party...I had SO many ideas of things I wanted to capture and how, but didn't. Oh well, you get the idea from the pictures shown.  I didn't have a "theme" per say, it was mostly a ribbons and lace shabby chic theme.  If that's a theme.  We had LOTS of food especially desserts. Our menu was: chicken salad, pb&j (on goldfish bread), chips, veggies, rice crispies on sticks, cake pops, strawberry shortcake, cream puffs, pink chocolate covered popcorn and pretzels dipped in chocolate (thanks to my fabulous neighbor who brought some over just because). Brent was in charge of games and spent weeks planning. Sometimes, as she's playing, she just laughs and "talks."  I love it!  She's always been a happy baby.  I know I've said this before but, (moms/dads will understand why) she has slept through the night since about 3 months AND wakes up around 8:30 every morning (except for today, she woke up at 9). I know-it's fabulous!  She LOVES to give
