I'm getting bad at not updating the blog...sorry. I used to try to post something at least once a week and well, that has NOT been the case. I will strive to do better in the upcoming weeks. Especially with the holidays approaching, there will be no shortage of material. I love that I can finally say that, "...with the holidays approaching!" We are very excited to experience the holiday season with Brynlynn.
We recently made a trip back to Lubbock/Midland to visit the family and see all the new real estate! It had been a few months since our last trip to West Texas, so it was time.
A little outdoor picnic...the weather was perfect (something I rarely get to say here in SA)!
..........................................................
Another staple element of fall is Aggie Football (well, technically college football, I guess...which also includes Tech football in this house). Despite all that's going on and the possible loss of a great Texas tradition, I will continue to support A&M. Honestly though, I can't say I'm happy about the move to the SEC, but I get it. Like everything, it seems, "it's all about the money, money, money." It will be a different football season though if we don't play TU or Tech...I love traditions, I don't accept changes easily. What of the fight song? Is that going to stay the same even if we no longer play TU? So sad to think it's the end of an era...
Moving on (and off my soapbox), Brynlynn shows her team spirit unaffected by recent events!

Cousins! We compared baby pictures and Brynlynn and Eve look very similar at her age. |
With her Grandma Linda and Grandpa Clyde before church. |

This is the classic Brynlynn pose. She does this ALL the time. (Notice her hand-she is always sticking her thumb in the ground waving her fingers back and forth.) |
