Not always the brightest crayon in the box, but we love him. He's no doubt a little fraction of a slice of what childhood will bring (especially if the newest Shannon is a boy).
This is underneath our recliner (in the recline position). He managed to wedge himself between this and the inside of the couch. Upon realizing he was not as comfortable as he'd hoped, he proceeded to try and escape through that little hole. Brent went to the rescue and I did my best to not move at all and prevent his unfortunate decapitation.
Another incident...
There used to be a mattress on this bed. We are turning the smaller room into a nursery and converting this full bed into a queen using the mattresses from the bed in the smaller room. Does that make sense? The mattress has been off the bed for a few weeks at this point, but I guess Winston forgot. My parents were visiting so we were all standing around the end of the bed talking. Winston, bless his heart, needing a break, jumped from the foot of the bed, over the footboard....landing on some boxes and tumbling to the floor. He wasn't phased at all by the fall or the mocking/taunting (we laughed for a long time-especially my mom).
Oh and yesterday, during the Tech game.....he peed on the coffee table, right next to Brent. He should know better by now about the whole potty training thing, but this is his first Tech football season so he had no way of knowing the severity of consequences during a losing game. They didn't interact for several hours after 'the incident', but have since made up.
