As long as I can remember SA news stations exaggerate any and every change in weather. Quite possibly because it's because the typical forecast here is -"Hot, Humid, be ready to sweat." I've gotten used to the ridiculous power point entrances such as 'ICE STORM 2006!' (one word shot in at a time with a corresponding and equaly annoying sound effect). As I have recently discovered, this overly enthusiastic attitude to report weather can prove beneficial (to me!). Earlier this week people began to talk about how it was going to snow on Friday. Snow?! in San Antonio? *insert rolling eyes* I dismissed this, as usual, because seriously, this is not a concern. Ice maybe, but not likely in December.
